Most definitely something would be done about the private information in the journals before they were opened up. However, you need not worry because they most likely will not be opened anyway. I have never been a fan of opening journals for the very reason of so much personal information there. And I tend to believe that my casts have respected and trusted me for that. There is one twist in this game that might contradict what I just said but for the record, I have felt very bad about this ever since it happened and wish now that I had not let it be a part of the game because I violated that trust a bit.

Thank you as well, Karen! You've always been great about personal info.

IMO, I think the last thing we should do is stop the episodes. I think a lot of things that the episodes reveal ( even though they may start new fires for the time being) wind up healing wounds in the process. They allow me to see what Chris, Beth, Missie, and Jenne were actually saying, which in some cases was very different from what they were telling me at the time. The episodes also allow me to see the though processes of the other players and why they voted the way they did.
I agree with Jamie that Kyle's episodes are some of the least slanted I've read (considering their being written by someone as passionate as Kyle). However, there will always be a slant. Even as I host in Socotra I had my favorites, and I had the people who I thought should be murdered with the episodes, because of how I personally felt about them.

i have enjoyed reading the episodes. i've seen too many games that have not finished with the episodes and it would be disapointing if this one did too.
i think it's funny that a person who quit writing his own games story is asking for somene else not to quit.
please kyle and karen, don't be a taylor and quit writing episodes. fans enjoy reading what happened.

The episodes will continue...no worries. I just wanted to make sure that the majority of people felt that they should and it seems they do. And if you think you've seen drama in them already...haha trust me, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Just chiming in. Even though I've only skimmed the episodes in a very cursory manner I too think that they seem fair and even handed. I certainly think most of the cast have had at least a few dickish moments.
Having been on his end as a humble writer it ain't an easy job. The only people who love you are the ones who look good. I also think it's very easy, if one wanted to, to make everyone look like saints or monsters. It's not much effort to just pick bad or good moments if one so desired.

WOW... I've been waiting for this episode to air... I had a lot of fun with this one... it's one of the benefits of knowing that your out you get to go all out trying to salvage any potential votes. While I honestly haven't had much of a chance to chat with any of you outside the game I hope that I will get an opportunity to meet the real people outside of the game.
And in the event that anyone still cares. I mentioned Chris' name to Jon and Drew after Jenne had left the chat; then the next day when I heard that Jon and Drew had either offered our alliance or at least told everyone about it I figured it would be best to backtrack and tell Chris that I considered voting for him. There were no rumors pointing back to him (which I did try to pin back on Jenne since she's known for having done it before) but I realized early on as I eluded to in my chats and confessionals, that he was one of the powerhouses in the game. Thus, he was definately justified in getting angry.
Trust me the moment I said it I realized how stupid a move it was and how it would have been much easier to just deny it if it ever surfaced. It was uncharacteristic of me, but the entire game I had tried to be upfront with the people I felt had done me no wrong. In fact after the Angie vote I told Ashley that I had voted for her. And she felt that it was water under the bridge, and after Lis found out I was campaigning against her she too took it the way it was meant (in the realm of the game) So I do have to say that it caught me off guard since in my opinion I thought the girls were more justified to be angry with me.
Just my perspective of course in the event that anyone was wanting to know. Like I've said before the game is just a game to me and I don't take anything that was said about me personally. Hope to see you guys/girls around.

Oh yeah... great job on the episodes Kyle, I can't imagine trying to sift through everything and making episodes out of it. Your portrayal of people is very similar to how I viewed them in my short time in the game as well. Again keep up the good work!

Ryan,
Thanks for posting. You pinning the rumors on Jenne was always one of those unanswered questions of mine. I had NO idea how hard you played this game until I read the episodes! So, to Kyle, thanks for writing and to Ryan, I appreciated seeing your comments!

I have to agree with Jojo on all counts, Ryan.
It was great watching you play. You have an amazing knack for ferreting out alliances. Truly impressive. And I loved how you played all the way to the end of your game.
Not to mention that before we had our falling out, I was really enjoying our talks and getting to know you. The late night chats with you, Angie & Jenne are one of my favorite memories from this game.
I also want to thank you for clearing up that Jenne rumor! People were still blaming it on her post-game...so it's great to have it all sewn up once and for all.
For all the talk of Jenne betraying her alliance...well, I think it is pretty clear at this point who was actually playing all sides (which I say with all due respect to the player in question - good strategy...we'll see how it plays out as episodes air!).

I gotta agree with Jamie here, why all the bashing of those under 20? I know I have not been known as a good Survivor player, but come on now... look at Jake, one of the best there is and he's younger than all of us. I think that the young guys (and girls) definitely deserved to play, and played well. This episode again showed my paranoia that I am all so famous for, but I am actually pretty happy with how I have been portrayed. I think the episodes have been great, and definitley hope they continue for a while.
