Nutshell...
Jamie and Angie gone....shock to everyone not involved, especially Angie. What had she done?
I already had lost my trust in Tenzil and Jenne.
Jenne...rightly so. She was already plotting my end game.
So heck yeah, I'm going to be watching my back against the people that "hold friends so highly" in this game. Here, let me just accept 5th place this time.
Jenne was playing. In my mind, that meant Tenzil was too. I remembered how Tenzil was in VD when Jamie was voted out...I feared it again. Add the fact that I had already voted for him and the chances being high that he would find out. Yes, in my mind, my game was better without Tenzil.
Though, if I had quit focusing so much on what Tenzil was "going to do" rather than what he "had not done", I might have made a more strategic decision. I should have stopped to think that Tenzil obviously had nothing to do with Jamie's boot and by default probably not Angie's.
However, Tenzil had the long list of "I will never vote off..." so I don't regret my decision. What I do regret was telling Jenne in the first place. That was rash on my part, getting on the immediate defensive after the challenge when Tenzil ignored us all. I do that sometimes...ever a learning experience for me.
But hey...at least I'm not afraid to play the game.
So, with Jamie and Angie gone, I wanted to solidify some more allies. I mean in a huge, daunting tribe of 16, 2 or 3 doesn't cut it right? That's why I picked up Jon. That's why I wanted to solidify something with Isaac and Missie. That's why I wanted to figure out where Ryan was...I still didn't really trust him yet. But I picked these people because, contrary to popular belief, I liked them. My perception of Missie coming into the game had been way skewed, and as I got to know her better, I found that I loved her. I had always liked Isaac. So...I was just going from there.
That's where I was at this point.

"Kyle should at least make jury." - Jenne
"Kyle can get one better place than last time." - Jenne
